crosswalk's story started in August 2025, with it's debut exhibition "Looking for Vultures", a solo show by Veronica Storc.

crosswalk is run by Alexis Estrada with a vision to advocate both contemporary and emerging artists to further artistic excellence. The physical location of crosswalk is operating out of a former convenience store turned studios, turned gallery.

With crosswalk's ambitious schedule and desire to preserve the value of physical art spaces, they positions themselves as a vital player in Chicago's artistic landscape.
